A drunk Uber user was hit with a $1,635 bill after falling asleep and embarking on a 300-mile journey across three states.

Kenny Bachman made the trip after a night out with friends in Morgantown, West Virginia.

He decided to get the Uber to take him back to where he was staying, near West Virginia University's campus, and once inside the vehicle, he quickly passed out.
But he woke up two hours later to find the driver was instead taking him to his home - in Gloucester County, New Jersey, more than 300 miles away.
Mr Bachman could not remember ordering the Uber and could not work out why a random man was driving him.
To make matters worse, he had ordered an UberXL, which can hold up to six passengers but costs more than the usual ride.
"Afterwards, I had it fully sink in," Mr Bachman told NJ Advance Media.
"Once the ride ended and I saw how much it was then I was like 'Alright, this is insane, that's just crazy'."

The fare worked out at $1,635.93 (£1,186) - a $3.94 base fare, a $2.35 booking fee, $696.95 for distance and $115.90 for time.
The surge pricing then doubled everything but the booking fee, according to NJ.com.
"Obviously I sent the Uber... I don't know where to.
"I know I wouldn't send it to my house, I knew where I was," Mr Bachman said.
