Jesus died for each one of us. We have all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There are no exceptions. People lie, steal, kill, fornicate, ignore God, use his name in vain and do much evil. When we do evil, it is called sin and sin must be punished. When a criminal commits a crime, we fully expect him to be punished. Well, each of us is a law breaker. We have repeatedly broken God's holy, righteous laws and we deserve to go to hell. God's word tells us to do what is right. It tells us to love God and to love our neighbor as ourselves. It also tells us not to lie, steal, kill, fornicate, dishonour our parents and covet other people's things. But look around at society. Men do the opposite of what God says.

The television teaches the opposite of what God says. We have all done evil with no exceptions. Whoever you are that is reading this article, you have sinned too. Jesus died to save your soul. You are not just a statistic, just one of billions of people. You are unique and made by God. He is not willing that you should perish. He sent his Son to save your soul.
No rebel is going to make it into God's heaven, not one. Liars, whoremongers, thieves, drunkards, sodomites, adulterers, false prophets, hypocrites, atheists, fake preachers, witches, God haters, and all other rebels are going to go to hell for their sins. All men have sinned and are worthy of hell and the lake of fire.
Jesus came down here to save us from our sins.
Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Jesus came down here to be the sacrifice for our sins. He came down here to die in our place so that we can be reconciled to God. On the cross, the Lord Jesus Christ shed his precious blood to pay for the sins and transgressions that we have committed. NOTE: THE BIBLE TEACHES US THAT JESUS SHED HIS BLOOD ONE TIME--NEVER TO BE REPEATED. THE ROMAN CATHOLIC MASS IS A BLASPHEMY. The following passage is taken from the article, Why did Jesus shed his blood?"

***** THE BLOOD OF JESUS WAS SHED ONE TIME *****
The blood of animals had to be shed over and over, but the blood of Jesus was shed only one time. The Roman Catholic institution teaches that Roman Catholic priests continue to sacrifice the Lord Jesus Christ over and over again during the "mass." They teach that the priest turns the wine into the actual blood of Jesus Christ and the bread into his actual body and divinity. This is a blasphemy. They call this abomination, "transubstantiation". There was a time the Roman Catholic institution killed people for rejecting this heresy.
THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT THE SACRIFICE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST OCCURRED ONE TIME. IT IS FINISHED.
Again, the blood of Jesus was shed one time and it perfected FOR EVER them that are sanctified. The Bible makes it clear that the precious blood of Jesus was shed one time--
Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.

Hebrews 7:27 ...this he did once, when he offered up himself.
Hebrews 9:28 ...Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many...
Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
The blood of Jesus saves us from both the guilt AND the power of sin. When a person repents of their sins and believes on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and obeys his word, they can live an upright life. They are saved. There is no "purgatory" -- the word "purgatory" is not even in the Bible. The blood of Jesus saves his people.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who was slain for our transgressions. He died as the propitiation for our sins. He was punished in our place. He was the only one qualified to die for us because he is perfect and lived on this earth without sin, the perfect man and God manifested in the flesh. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He took on a body and shed his blood for us, for our sins and transgressions. God knew that we are helpless and beset by sins, but he did not give up on us. He made a way for us to be saved from our sins. There is only ONE way to be saved, and that is through the blood of Jesus and nobody else.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1 Timothy 2:5-6
God so loved this world that he gave us his perfect, only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross to pay for our sins. The Lord Jesus Christ came down here over 2,000 years ago--we even reckon time based on his birth. His name is Emmanuel which means, "God with us."

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. He was born of a virgin named Mary in Bethlehem in Israel and grew up in Nazareth of Galilee. When he was about thirty years old, he began his public ministry. He taught us about God's requirements, he healed the sick, raised the dead, opened the eyes of the blind, opened the ears of the deaf, cleansed lepers, cast out devils, healed people of the palsy, and performed many other miracles. When the Lord Jesus Christ walked on this earth, he taught us to love God and to love one another. He had compassion on the multitudes because they were as sheep having no shepherd. He said that if we wanted to be his disciples, we must take up our cross and follow him. We are to follow his commandments regardless of the cost. The Lord Jesus loved us and left us a perfect example that we should follow in his blessed steps. He was perfect and without sin. His life on the earth is recorded in the gospels of the Authorized Version of the holy scriptures (see Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).
Jesus Christ, our Creator (John 1:1-3, 14), left heaven to come down here to die for our sins.
...he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6
It is by the blood of Jesus that we are forgiven by God. And it is by the stripes of Jesus that we are healed from our evil ways. When we repent of our sins and believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ we are born again into a new life. We are changed and healed. Whoremongers become saints. Thieves become upright citizens. Drunkards become sober. Liars become honest people. The blood of Jesus changes things, his name be praised. Our precious Lord Jesus Christ was smitten and wounded for us that we might be whole.
...his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men...
Jesus Christ, God manifested in the flesh, was nailed through his hands and his feet to a cross. He bled for us, for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. He shed his precious blood as of a Lamb without spot and without blemish. He was the perfect sacrifice and the ONLY one that God will everaccept. Any man that wants to know the true and the living God must go through Jesus Christ. It is Jesus Christ alone that God will accept. We are made accepted by God only through Jesus Christ, the one who gave his life as a ransom for us.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Why did Jesus die? He died to redeem us and ransom us. He died to turn us from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that we might receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ (ref. Acts 26:18). He died to save us.
Hell is a place prepared for the devil and his angels, but rebels go there too. We have all sinned and deserve to be punished. Our Lord Jesus Christ came to reverse that fearful judgment and he has reversed it over and over again for as many as have called on his precious name. The Lord Jesus Christ was the only one qualified to die for our sins. He is the only perfect man. He is the only one chosen and accepted by God. Jesus came here to die in our place. That is why he came here in the form of a man, so that he could die the death of a man for all mankind. He is the Lamb of God who was slain for the sins of the world.
In the hours leading up to the crucifixion, our Lord was mocked, spat upon, and scourged. He was then led to a place called Calvary to be crucified. As they nailed him to the cross, he said, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." As he hung on the cross, the people mocked him and told him to come down if he were the Son of God. He could have come down, but in love he stayed on the cross that we might be saved and born again. Our Lord died on that cross, he did not come down. He finished the work that he came to do and praise God he finished it because I am saved today because of my precious Lord Jesus Christ. The work of the cross was a great work, an effectual work.
After the Lord Jesus Christ died, he was wrapped in linen and laid in a grave. Three days later, he rose from the dead just like he said he would. Before he went to the cross, the Lord Jesus repeatedly told his disciples that he would killed and raised again the third day--
Matthew 20:17-19 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
John 10:17-18 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
Even the enemies of Jesus, the religious rulers, knew that Jesus had said that he would rise from the dead. Therefore after he died they had soldiers guard his tomb to make sure his body would not leave it. But no man can stop God. Jesus rose from the dead three days later just like he said he would and was seen by over 500 people at one time before he went back to heaven where he came from. He is now seated on the right hand of the throne of God where he ever liveth to make intercession for his people.
After the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead, his apostles and disciples turned the world upside down. They were set on fire of the Holy Ghost and preached the word with unction, power, and anointing. They healed the sick and raised the dead and as they were hunted down by their enemies, the word of God spread from Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth. It is now 2,000 years later and the blood of Jesus is still saving souls and his people are still witnessing unto him..
Anyone who repents and believes in the blood of Jesus will be born again.

REPENT of your sins
BELIEVE that Jesus died and shed his blood for your sins
Believe that he was buried
Believe that he rose again on the third day
FOLLOW his word--the Authorized Version (Authorized King James of 1611) of the Bible not the modern Bibles
Repent, believe, and follow his word and you will be saved. If you believe this of a truth you will follow the words of Jesus as they are found in the holy Bible. His commandments are not grievous, they are wonderful, right, and true. If you follow on to know the Lord Jesus Christ, your search for peace will be over because you will know Jesus Christ, the prince of peace. He is the only way to God and he is the Saviour of the world.
Believest thou?
The gospel is the message of Jesus Christ, what he did for us--his death, his burial and his resurrection. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth--to the Jew first and also to the Gentile. For more information on the gospel of Jesus Christ, please see our article entitled, "How to Get to Heaven."

Matthew 26:28 ...this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

The wages of sin is death (ref. Romans 6:23)--both physical death and then death in hell and the lake of fire that burneth with fire and brimstone.
In any society, people expect evildoers to be punished. God is the judge of all the earth and his law is perfect. Sin is the transgression of the law of God and sin must be punished. Lies, murders, adulteries, and other crimes against the law of God must be punished.

***** GOD WANTS US TO LIVE *****
Even though we have done evil, God is not willing that any should perish.
Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
God loved this world and he made a way for us to be saved and to know him--he gave us his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord came here as a man in order to pay for our sins. The blood of Jesus is the atonement for our sins.
atonement, n.,
1. Reconciliation; restoration of friendly relations; agreement; concord after enmity or controversy.
2. Expiation; satisfaction or reparation made by doing or suffering that which is received in satisfaction for an offense or injury; amends.
expiation, n.,
The act of making satisfaction or atonement for any crime or fault; the extinguishing of guilt.
When the Lord Jesus Christ shed his blood, he paid for our sins and crimes so that we can be saved from the wrath to come and can know God as our Father. All we have to do is REPENT of our sins and BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ--that he died, was buried, and rose again on the third--and OBEY his holy word, the Bible.
As we examine the scriptures, we see that God has always required blood to atone for man's sin.
Leviticus 17:11, ...the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Under the Old Testament, the blood of animals was shed to atone for man's sins.
Under the New Testament, the blood of Jesus was shed to atone for man's sins.
***** THE OLD TESTAMENT: THE BLOOD OF ANIMALS *****
When we turn back to the Old Testament of the Bible, we see that after sin entered into the world, God required the blood of animals for the atonement of the sins that men committed.

Leviticus 16:29 ...in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
Leviticus 16:30 For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
2 Chronicles 29:24 And the priests killed them [he goats], and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
Israel continually shed the blood of beasts, but the blood of beasts could not take away sins (ref. Hebrews 10:4, 11)--that is why they had to keep sacrificing them. In spite of the sacrifices, the Israelites were still unfaithful to their God as evidenced by their awhoring after other gods. We see this in much of the Old Testament including the books of the prophets. Israel sacrificed, but the blood of beasts could not make them perfect (ref. Hebrews 10:1) or purge them of their evil ways.
Hebrews 10:4 ...it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Consequently, the Levitical priesthood had to keep on offering sacrifices--not just for the sins of the people but for their own sins, too. They had to sacrifice over and over again, year in and year out. A better sacrifice was needed.
About 600 years before the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, God told his people, the children of Israel, that he was going to make a new covenant with them--
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
The shedding of the blood of animals under the Old Testament was a picture of what our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ would do in the New Testament.
***** THE NEW TESTAMENT: THE BLOOD OF JESUS, THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW TESTAMENT *****
God sent his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to take away the sin of the world once and for all. He is that better sacrifice that came to earth in the fullness of time. The Lord Jesus Christ is the perfect Lamb of God that shed his blood for us so that we could be saved from our sins that we have committed. It is the blood of Jesus that God requires now, not the blood of beasts. The blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse men from both the guilt and power of sin and it purges us all the way down to our very consciences. The blood of Jesus is the blood of the everlasting covenant. It saves us for eternity, it delivers us from sin, it purges our consciences, it gives us power--power to overcome the flesh, the devil, and the world.
The sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has completely abolished the system of animal sacrifice for ever. The blood of the animal sacrifices of the Old Testament only pictured what our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Israel's Messiah, would do when he shed his own blood on the cross.
There no way to approach God but through the blood of Jesus, that is it.
Ephesians 1:5-7 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
The blood of animals could never take away sins.
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Hebrews 10:4
We need the blood of Jesus. The blood of beasts was only a picture of the blood of Jesus that would be shed on the cross for the remission of our sins.
Christ Jesus came as a high priest by a greater and more perfect tabernacle than that of the Levitical priesthood and not with the blood of beasts but with his own blood--blood that purges the conscience from dead works to serve the living God--
Hebrews 9:11 ...Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place having obtained eternal redemption for us.
9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
The Lord Jesus Christ--God manifested in the flesh--came to this earth to take away our sins. He lived a perfect life, was without sin, and died in our place so that we could live. He shed his blood to pay for our sins so that we can be saved and have everlasting life. Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world (ref. John 1:29). He shed his blood on the cross to take away our sin. WE ALL DESERVE HELL AND THE LAKE OF FIRE, NOT ONE OF US IS GOOD--

God so loved the world that he gave us his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world--he is perfect, holy, beloved, and righteous altogether. In him is no sin and when we put our trust in him, we are accepted of God. We must believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was delivered for our offenses, and raised again for our justification before God (ref. Romans 4:25)

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
The Lord Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, without sin and became sin for us when he hung on the cross shedding his blood in payment for our sins. He died for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day. He came here to earth in order to pay for our sins. The blood of Jesus is the atonement for our sins.
***** PEACE WITH GOD AND RECONCILIATION THROUGH THE ATONEMENT *****
Those that repent of their sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved. And having been saved by the blood of Jesus, we have peace with God and a new life in him and his word.
Romans 5:1-11
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Romans 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Romans 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Now that we are saved, we no longer live according to the old evil manner, but in accordance with the word of God.
Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
God has made a way for us to be forgiven of our sins and for us to live uprightly. The blood of Jesus atones for sin and purges our consciences so that we become new creatures. Old things are passed away and all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
