Yet another blunder for the presidential hopeful Donald Trump.  The famous billionaire and a Republican presidential hopeful had another one of his ‘illuminating’ ideas.  Asked how he would manage ISIS to stop communicating among each other he said that he wants to stop their communication by shutting down internet.

“ISIS is recruiting through the Internet. ISIS is using the Internet better than we are using the Internet and it was our idea,” Trump said. “I want to get the brilliant people from Silicon Valley and other places and figure out a way that ISIS can’t do what they’re doing.”

CNN moderator Wolf Blitzer tried to get Trump to clarify: “Are you open to closing parts of the Internet?” Blitzer asked.

“I would certainly be open to closing areas where we are at war with somebody,” Trump said. “I sure as hell don’t want to let people that want to kill us and kill our nation use our Internet. Yes sir, I am.”

‘We're losing a lot of people because of the Internet,’ Trump said recently at a campaign rally in South Carolina. ‘We have to go see Bill Gates and a lot of different people that really understand what's happening. We have to talk to them about, maybe in certain areas, closing that Internet up in some way.’

It has been wildly known that ISIS recruits its members online. The messaging app Telegram were forced to shut down ISIS related channels after the Paris terror attacks because concerns increased that ISIS used an encrypted software to communicate among its vast membership.

Yet, no other presidential candidate or any other high ranking officer within office and the administration has ‘advocated’ for closing the internet. It is quite unclear what such an action would entail both for the economy and the freedom of speech.

Trump continued, ‘Somebody will say, 'Oh, freedom of speech, freedom of speech.' These are foolish people.’
“I’m not talking about closing the Internet,” Trump said. “I’m talking about closing parts of the Internet where ISIS is.”

Trump said earlier this month that he was in favor of closing parts of the Internet and brushed aside fears about restricting freedom of speech: “We have to go see Bill Gates and a lot of different people that really understand what’s happening. We have to talk to them about, maybe in certain areas, closing that Internet up in some way. Somebody will say, ‘Oh freedom of speech, freedom of speech.’ These are foolish people. We have a lot of foolish people.”

This is just another idea of Trump’s that caused uproar in the American public. Earlier this month in another interview Trump claimed the USA should close its borders to all Muslims.

The internet comments come in the same day as Trump trashed and attacked Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos on Twitter. He called the Washington Post, which Bezos owns, a tax shelter for Amazon.

Bezos fired back by suggesting that his private space company launch Trump into space.

Clash of the titans apparently.

  4. It would be virtually impossible to simply halt our telecommunication networks from communicating with Muslims.. you need to design a computer that requires a blood sample or facial recognition that detects people of middle eastern descent. And even if all computers had strict verification perimeters like what I have just described it would still be very possible to hack them and bypass those security perimeters.. if someone where to make ANY impact even in the slightest it would mean that the ENTIRE infrastructure of the internet cloud MUST be modified.. which is very difficult to do indeed.. it would in a sense affect just about every privacy agreement that has ever been made.. and to magnify it further there could also be detrimental financial collapse as a result of "shutting the internet down". And the very fact that it sounds so controversial and the message is so damn marketable means that YES this just may happen soon.. just about any idea that stands out or can inflict a sense of mass panic is not only in its very nature an inevitability but also completely manifested by the collective consciousness of all of the inhabitants of Earth.
